This Privacy Policy explains how Arru Studios may collect, use and protect information when people use the Arru Studios website, mailing list, support forms and current or future Arru Studios products.

Who we are

Arru Studios is an independent app, game and software product studio and a trading name of Hormozi & Sons Trading Ltd. Hormozi & Sons Trading Ltd is the data controller, registered in England and Wales under company number 12705776. VAT registration number: GB 494 5072 69. The website is arrustudios.com.

Information we may collect

Arru Studios may collect information that people choose to provide through mailing list sign-ups, contact forms, support requests and data deletion requests. Current or future products may also collect information needed to provide features, maintain security, diagnose issues or support product functionality where applicable.

How we use information

Information may be used to operate websites and products, respond to enquiries, provide support, manage mailing list subscriptions, improve reliability, meet platform requirements and protect Arru Studios products and users.

Mailing list data

If you join the mailing list, Arru Studios may use your email address and any subscription preferences to send product launches, development updates and early access announcements. You can unsubscribe using the link included in mailing list emails where available.

Product support and contact forms

When you submit a contact, support or data deletion form, Arru Studios may use the information provided to review the request, reply to you and keep appropriate records of the enquiry.

App store and platform data

Where products are distributed through app stores or other platforms, those platforms may process account, purchase, download, diagnostics or review data under their own privacy terms.

Analytics and diagnostics

Optional analytics is disabled until the visitor records an affirmative analytics choice. SYSTEM OVERRIDE events use pseudonymous session and run identifiers and avoid email addresses, full save files and deterministic seeds. Analytics failure or rejection does not block play.

Advertising

Advertising is controlled separately from analytics. Advertising providers, purposes and region-dependent consent behaviour are described for each product where advertising is enabled.

SYSTEM OVERRIDE for Android

The Android version of SYSTEM OVERRIDE, package com.arrustudios.systemoverride, uses Google Mobile Ads SDK 25.4.0. It provides an optional rewarded advertisement that can grant one recovery during an eligible run and an interstitial advertisement between eligible completed runs. The game does not contain banner ads, in-app purchases, paid currency or user accounts.

Advertising consent and privacy choices

The app uses Google User Messaging Platform SDK 4.0.0 to request and manage consent where required. It asks the SDK to update consent information when it starts and requests ads only when the SDK reports that ads may be requested. Where Google requires privacy options to remain available, users can reopen them from the Privacy panel. The game remains playable when consent is not granted or ads cannot be requested.

Data handled by Google Mobile Ads

Google states that Google Mobile Ads SDK 25.4.0 automatically collects and shares the following data for advertising, analytics and fraud-prevention purposes:

• IP address, which may be used to estimate the device's general, approximate location;
• user interactions, including app launches, taps and video views;
• diagnostic information, including app launch time, hang rate and energy usage; and
• device or account identifiers, including the Android advertising ID, app set ID and, where applicable, other identifiers associated with accounts signed in on the device.

Google states that this data is encrypted in transit using Transport Layer Security. Android users can reset or delete their advertising ID through Android settings. Consent choices and limited-ads behaviour may also restrict the identifiers or other data transmitted by the advertising SDK.

Data stored on the device

Game progress and settings are stored locally on the device. Android may include this local data in cloud backup or device transfer when those Android features are enabled. This Android release does not enable Arru Studios analytics, a remote leaderboard, cloud save or account login.

Provider retention and deletion

Google handles retention and deletion for data it processes through its advertising services in line with its privacy policy, service terms, user controls and applicable requirements. Arru Studios does not control Google's retention schedules. Read the Google Privacy Policy.

For a question or data deletion request, email support@arrustudios.com and identify SYSTEM OVERRIDE. Arru Studios will respond about data it controls. Requests concerning data controlled by Google are handled through Google's policies and user controls.

Cookies

Cookies and similar technologies may be used for essential site operation and, where enabled, analytics or other disclosed purposes. More information is available in the Cookie Policy.

Data sharing

Arru Studios may share information with service providers that help operate the website, mailing list, support forms, analytics, diagnostics, hosting or app distribution. Information may also be shared where required by law, platform rules or to protect rights and security.

Data retention

Information is kept only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer period is required for legal, security, support or operational reasons.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to certain uses of your personal information. Arru Studios will review requests in line with applicable requirements.
